Neurological disorders are among the biggest public health challenges around the globe.
With the advent of genomic technologies, such as next-generation of sequencing, researchers have been able to identify the genetic variants that contribute to these diseases. While the underlined molecular and cellular mechanisms still remain to be a great challenge, which limit our understanding of the neurological disorders and thus the process of translating our knowledge and research to efficient therapies. Stem cell, especially induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) have been studied worldwide since a decade ago. With the capability to recapitulate the pathobiology, iPSCs are proved to be an ideal tool for modeling human diseases and for facilitating drug discoveries. Beyond this, iPSCs can even be developed into more complex system to study the disease at organ level. Team up with a group of scientists from various neuroscience branches, Creative Biolabs is dedicated to providing services and products to support the scientific research and drug discovery in neuroscience and neurological disorders.
