Alzheimer's Disease; Tauopathies
Summary
| Description | This Neuro-2a (N2a) cell line is a reporter system for Tau protein aggregation. It perpetually expresses two halves of a split superfolder GFP, each fused to a Tau molecule. Aggregation of Tau brings the GFP halves together, reconstituting a fluorescent signal, enabling real-time monitoring of Tau aggregation. |

Specifications
| Warnings | For your protection, you must wear protective gloves, clothing, and a face mask when handling frozen vials. Bear in mind that some liquid seepage into the vial can occur during storage. Upon thawing, the liquid nitrogen turns into a gas. Due to the nature of nitrogen, this can cause pressure to build up inside the vial, potentially leading to the vial bursting or the cap ejecting. This creates a risk of flying debris. |
| Cryopreservation Medium | 90% complete growth medium plus 10% DMSO. |
