37°C with 5% CO₂. Adherence Substrate: Culture vessels must be pre-treated with a poly-D-lysine coating. Using laminin as a co-substrate is also recommended. Medium Requirements: Use of a specialized basal medium with a low osmolality (210-240 mOsm/kg H₂O) is mandatory for cell viability. Culture Timeline: Add mitotic inhibitors to the medium precisely 4 hours after plating to prevent glial cell overgrowth. |

| Storage | This product must be stored in liquid nitrogen only. Storage at -20°C or -80°C is prohibited. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. |
Specifications
| Viability | Do not perform a trypan blue viability count right after thawing. Live cells may also stain, making the count inaccurate. |
| Mycoplasma Testing | Negative |
| Warnings | For your protection, you must wear protective gloves, clothing, and a face mask when handling frozen vials. Bear in mind that some liquid seepage into the vial can occur during storage. Upon thawing, the liquid nitrogen turns into a gas. Due to the nature of nitrogen, this can cause pressure to build up inside the vial, potentially leading to the vial bursting or the cap ejecting. This creates a risk of flying debris. |
